Knowledge about this enables improvement of routines, patient participation and patient safety. The purpose of the study was to investigate patient?s experiences of their visit at the Emergency department.A descriptive design was used.

This essay is about dogs that visit is used, whitin care of elderly. The dogs found caretakers once a week and one hour at a time. The focus has been placed on the dogs that go to the municipality's special accommodation and the research was done in a medium-sized municipality in Sweden. The focus of the narrowing of the work was done to the work situation for care staff to assess the impact of the visits the dogs presence. It was distributed questionnaires answered by care staff in which it concluded their visit to the dog's presence felt and how it impacted the situation.

Naturskolan- en metod till lärande? : Outdoor teaching - A method for learning?

The purpose of this essay is to find an answer to whether the methodology used by the Naturskolan conduces to learning and also if the Naturskolan, as a method of its own, leads to an increased interest in natural science for the pupils participating in the classes at the Naturskolan.The method which has been used to reach the results of the study is a quantitative opinion poll. The results reached through the study has been compared to previous research in the subject. Deeper studies were made to examine however the interest of the pupils was influenced by their visit at the Naturskolan.The results of the study show an increase of interest in natural science after visiting the Naturskolan. It also shows that the teachers? interest in natural science and outdoor pedagogy has increased by the visit at the Naturskolan.Through this study we came to the conclusion that the Naturskolan is a good method to learning..

"Vi ska inte vara rädd föratt möta människor utanför skolan" : En studie som belyser ett lärarperspektiv på studiebesök i religionskunskap

The project of this thesis is to illuminate the teacher perspective on Study visits by examining how six religion teachers relate to the Study visit method in high school religious education. The research object of the thesis is to investigate whether teachers believe there are viable didactic possibilities and challenges associated with the Study visit concept in education, and to define them if present. The results show that the main didactic advantage, as perceived by the teachers participating in this study, lies in the meeting the Study visit enables. A meeting may lead to increased insight and understanding of other people?s way of thinking, conceiving and believing.

Hembesök - hur gör man? : -  en fokusgruppsstudie av socialsekreterares kunskap och tillvägagångssätt gällande hembesök vid barnavårdsutredningar

The aim of this study was to examine what knowledge social workers express about home visits in child welfare investigations and how they know what to do. Sixteen social workers who work with social investigations concerning children were asked to discuss the topic home visit in three focus group interviews in three different municipalities in southern Sweden. The social workers in our focus group interviews mainly discussed the purpose of the home visit, what social workers do during home visits and furthermore their opinions about guidelines and policy documents regarding the home visit.  To get an understanding of what type of knowledge is the basis for social workers use of the home visit, we used Polanyi's concept of 'tacit knowing' as well as the Aristotelian theory of knowledge containing three forms of knowledge, that is, episteme, techne and fronesis. We found that the displaying of ?tacit knowing? was a consistent feature in all groups, as they had difficulty expressing their knowledge use.

This comparative study deals with male and female subjects during their visit to Stockholm. The aim was to find out if there were any general differences in travel motives between the sexes. Travel motive and motivation in tourism is a topic that has long been studied. With the help of various motivation theories and theories about how motives for travelling are created, we conducted a survey of tourists in Stockholm and then compared their travel motives. The results gave similar answers to what we had expected regarding gender differences.

Sex differences in feeding visit rates in Northern Wheatears Oenanthe oenanthe

AbstractThe Northern Wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe) is a small insectivorous passerine bird living in open landscapes. Both parents feed the brood of approximately five chicks, but little is known about how each sex allocates their feeding effort. In this study I investigate feeding nest visit differences between male and female Northern Wheatears relative to the age of the chicks, the number of chicks and the quality of the territory for 17 pairs from 2008-2010. Data were collected using automated data loggers to record nest visitation rates during chick feeding, and the sex was determined from nest video cameras. I also examine if the parents? rate of feeding visits changes over the nestling period.

The aim of this work has been to investigate how it is that it sometimes can be difficult for special educators to gain access by teachers to the classroom/lesson to make observations. A partial order has been to determine whether the special educator can curb the negative response from the teacher in question, concerning access to the classroom/lesson. The survey has a phenomenological perspective as the basis of the test procedures and the analyses made. Phenomenology has as its starting point that the human does not perceive the world in the same way, and that she has different motives and intentions for her actions. In order to understand why the human act like she does, you have to create an image of the personal meaning behind this action. To create this image, I have implemented conversational interviews with five teachers at a high school, in central Sweden. The investigation revealed that it is missing that the school's teachers are clearly informed of which laws and regulations the special educator is subordinate to.

 Aim. To describe patients who have got a recommendation by a telenurse to visit the emergency department and how many of these patients could have received care in the primary health care instead. Further on, the aim was to describe if there are patients not following the recommendations.Methods. Quantitative, descriptive study, with an examination of medical records of the patients, which the telenurses recommended to visit the emergency department, during one week. Assessments whether the patient could seek medical care at the primary health care was made, firstly based on the telenurses documentation and secondly on both the telenurses and the emergency department´s documentation.Results.

Fisksätra has a historical background that goes back to the battle between Russia and Sweden that took place in 1719. This battle is known as "Slaget vid Stäket". Today there are plans to develop Fisksätra as a tourist destination where focus lays on the historic factor of the battlefield that took place there. As of this a project called the HAMN project has started to try to develop a new experience park at this destination unlike any other.The aim of this essay has been to study how much potential this experience park has to become a popular tourist destination in the future, while looking at the potential interest of the foreign tourists. The purpose of this study is to investigate how customers' senses can be influenced by the experience of a visit to a tourist company and how six tourism businesses today utilize this phenomenon. The problem is that the phenomenon of sensory impact is a relatively newly discovered substance and not sufficiently established in the market.This essay is about how six selected tourism businesses use the human?s five senses during a visit by the companies. The information from each company is gathered by interviews that took place at each company with responsible employees. We have also met with experts in different sensory areas to best find out how companies can make best use of sensory experiences to influence their customers.

This essay started with a describing of Vision2020 that aims to get incoming tourism doubled and to make global travellers choose Sweden as their destination at the first place. Furthermore, we discuss those 12 priority markets that a Swedish leading communications company in the tourism Visit Sweden puts effort and promotes. Poland was not on the list of the selected countries. With our research we aim to show that the Polish market has potential. Compelling factors point to that Sweden and Poland are neighbour countries with good transport connections and, not least, that the countries have long historical relationships with each other.

Sverige ? ett varumärke? : Hur Visit Sweden marknadsför Sverige internationellt

Bakgrund: Till år 2020 ska antalet exportmogna svenska destinationer ha mer än fördubblats. Detta enligt projektet Nationell strategi som bland andra aktörerna Visit Sweden, Svensk Turism och Swedavia igår i. Visit Swedens roll i projektet är att marknadsföra Sverige till målgrupper utomlands.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur Visit Sweden arbetar för att marknadsföra Sverige och dess destinationer till sina utvalda målgrupper internationellt.Frågeställning:Hur arbetar Visit Sweden för att attrahera utvalda målgrupper?Vilken kommunikation finns med målgrupperna?Hur arbetar Visit Sweden för att stärka Sveriges image hos resenärerna?Metod: I denna uppsats har kvalitativa metoder använts med djupintervjuer och litteraturstudier för att ge författarna en bredare och djupare bild av ämnet för att kunna svara på frågeställningarna. Intervjuer gjordes med representanter från Visit Sweden och Svenska Institutet.Teori: De teorier som utgör uppsatsens teoretiska referensram berör image, integrerad marknadskommunikation, positionering, differentiering samt platsmarknadsföring.Slutsats: Visit Sweden definierar sina målgrupper utifrån analyser för att kunna rikta marknadsföringen till rätt målgrupp.
